It is a matter of immense pleasure and pride that Indo-European Chamber of commerce and Industry (IECCI) has come up in the state of Madhya Pradesh as a trade bridge between India and European Countries. I am highly delighted to learn that the thrust of the Chamber is on economic development of the less developed regions of India and so it decided to keep its head office in the city of lakes- Bhopal. I am quite content that the chamber is not just looking at the urban development, but also has a strong action plan with set deadlines for the rural development through clean technologies and other measures.
India's economy has been growing from strength to strength. Sectors like agriculture and tourism, ec need attention in the global economy, as they have immense potential of creating sustainable livelihoods and accelerating business growth. Liberal investment promotion packages announced by the government of Madhya Pradesh for industries have already been well received. And the progressive state of Madhya Pradesh is determined for the transition from developing to developed states. And with IECCI expanding in the state, I am sure that the duration of this transition will reduce significantly
I assure all the support and cooperation from the state government in this humble cause of economic development of the region.
I extend my heartiest congratulations to IECCI.
Former Governor of the State of Madhya Pradesh
I am delighted to note that Indo-European Chamber of Commerce and Industry is bringing out a souvenir “Pharmaceutical Cluster of Madhya Pradesh” as strategic trade promotion enterprise. A joint trade venture by developed and developing economies could give a business exposure to progressive states like Madhya Pradesh.
India’s economy has been growing from strength to strength. Sectors like pharmaceuticals and bio-technology need attention in the global economy, as they have immense potential of creating sustainable livelihoods and accelerating business growth. The Special Economic Zone- equipped well with quality supportive infrastructure at Indore has provided a nursing ground for the growth of industries, especially pharmaceutical industries.
Liberal investment packages announced by the Government of Madhya Pradesh have already been well received. I hope the souvenir would underline the strategic position of the state in the pharma sector.
With best wishes

Madhya Pradesh Tourism had assigned a number of consultancy works to M/s IECCI, Bhopal. Notable among these are “Investors Guide to Tourism”, “Deficiency Study of 10 Tourist Destinations in Madhya Pradesh” and “Land Bank for Public-Private Partnership in Tourism in M.P”.
Excellent work has been done by IECCI in preparation of these reports. Moreover, their result-driven and time-bound approach also deserve appreciation. They are a dependable and reliable consultancy organization.
I wish them success in all their endeavours.
